Let's Get Acquainted
Hi, thank you for visiting! We are Tim and Ann Sullivan and we've been married 43 years, friends for even longer! We have raised 6 extraordinary daughters, by the grace of God, who are now married to amazing men, and who have made us the happiest grandparents to 19 grandchildren and counting! Leaving a legacy is what we are about! We want to share with you how you can do the same. No matter your past or where you are now, your life matters and God wants to use your story to help others!
This blog has been in our hearts for years as we have always felt we were called to share our story. I have journaled regularly for over 40 years as we have gone through just about every tough situation imaginable and seen God come through time and time again. This blog is filled with stories of great joy and triumph, pain and heartache and everything in between. Stories about parenting babies through adult children, marriage, addiction, bulimia, depression, generational strongholds, crippling fear, and control, just to name a few. Every story is meant to glorify God and His faithfulness to carry us through any struggle we have faced. It is for you to receive inspiration, hope and refreshment. It’s for everyone who needs encouragement to take the next step and trust God for the big and little things in life.
I have written my rescue story and have shared it over the years. Many people have encouraged me to write a book or start a blog. I felt like a failure because I hadn't accomplished this yet as I always knew it was a huge part of my purpose. As I would cry out to God He would reassure me over and over that this was not the season for writing, to be patient and trust Him; when the time was right it would all fall into place. I have worked full time, always lived in a construction project as we have renovated 10 houses, and raised this big wonderful family. Unless it was between 12 midnight and 5 am I didn't have much time or energy!
In this last year everything changed and God led us to move to the beach where we would be able to retire, spend time writing and enjoy all God has in store for this new season. Like He promised, "everything fell into place". We finally have the opportunity to give away all God has given us! So here we are!
